Cashmere is one of the most precious natural fibres known to man. It is uniquely soft and warm without being bulky. Our cashmere is selected from goats in Mongolia, with each goat annually producing enough wool for a single Savile Rogue scarf.

Our classic scarves are made in an old Scottish mill, by skilled people with generations of expertise in spinning and weaving cashmere wool.

Unlike inferior imported ‘cashmere’ products (often coarse wool or mixed with other fibres) we guarantee ours to be of the highest quality. By buying a Savile Rogue scarf you will also be helping to preserve traditional manufacturing skills.

Caring for your cashmere scarf

Whilst your Savile Rogue scarf should last many, many years, cashmere is a very delicate wool and should be looked after carefully. We recommend dry-cleaning only - once a season should be enough. When not being worn you should take care to protect it from moths, who share our taste for cashmere wool.
