Mansfield Town’s chief executive wears a scarf better than you

Ahead of yesterday’s FA Cup third round tie between Mansfield and Liverpool, BBC One’s Football Focus visited Field Mill to meet chairman John Radford and his wife and chief executive Carolyn.

The piece ended with Carolyn out on the pitch posing with a yellow and blue bar scarf. It has to be said that few Football League chief executives would manage to wear a scarf quite as well as Mrs Radford manages.

You can watch the feature on the BBC website for some insight into the Radfords’ work-life relationship. It’s worth watching for the moment Mark Clemmit thrusts £20 at Carolyn and tells her to get a sign in the tunnel replaced.
