Ballon D’raw by Mark Frances and SPIEL magazine

Ballon D’raw is a collaboration between Liverpool School of Art and Design and the always stylish SPIEL magazine.

It takes five players – Johan Cruyff, Michel Platini, Eusebio, Lev Yashin and Franz Beckenbauer – and turns them into some very nice prints, each with an individual style that gives a nod to art in the time and place in which they played their football.

As far as we can tell, all of the prints are the work of Mark Frances. They were each made available in limited edition run of 15 risograph prints, but it looks like they’ve all gone, so you’ll have to admire them digitally.

You can see them all on the SPIEL website.
