Fútbol: The Beautiful Game exhibition

This exhibition will be of particular interest to Savile Rogue fans Stateside, but we can all appreciate the artwork from afar.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is hosting Fútbol: The Beautiful Game, an exhibition of more than 50 piece of football-related artwork by around 30 different artists.

This Pele silkscreen by Andy Warhol from 1978 is probably the highest profile piece on display. There are also more contemporary works, as well as video installations, including Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait by Philippe Parreno and Douglas Gordon, and Volta by Stephen Dean.

The exhibition runs from February 2 until July 20 and has been timed to coincide with the World Cup.
