Ex-Ajax and Ipswich star Martijn Reuser in his Savile Rogue scarf

Remember Martijn Reuser? Having come through the ranks at Ajax in the late-1990s, a knee injury held him back from becoming the Dutch international star he was expected to become and he ended his career with just one Holland cap to his name.

In 2000, he made the switch to Ipswich Town. Having helped the Tractor Boys to promotion, he was an integral part of their first season in the Premier League.

Reuser was in outstanding form as Ipswich finished fifth in the 2000/01 season. After that, injuries began to take their toll but, when fit, he was always a stylish attacking midfielder.

That obviously hasn’t changed in retirement. Here he is in his Savile Rogue scarf.
