When Mascots Attack by Urban Gent

Urban Gent do a nice line in t-shirts and are offering some classy World Cup designs at the moment.

This one, entitled When Mascots Attack, caught our eye.

It’s the work of Greek illustrator Johnny Negri, who very cleverly took the iconic Zinedine Zidane vs Marco Materazzi headbutt from the 2006 World Cup final and applied it to a couple of their compatriots.

So, instead of Zidane and Materazzi, you get France 98 mascot Footix the rooster sticking one on Italia 90’s iconic stickman Ciao.

Simple but very entertaining.

You can see the t-shirt in full here.
