Brazil vs Croatia animation by Richard Swarbrick

We’ve featured the distinctive work of animator Richard Swarbrick a few times over the past couple of years. Here’s his latest work, hot off the press.

It looks like Richard is planning on being very busy during the World Cup, because this video points towards a daily animated round-up of goals scored at the tournament.

After last night’s opener between hosts Brazil and Croatia, Neymar’s equaliser, his subsequent penalty, and Oscar’s third goal in the 3-1 win were all turned into animations. Brazil left-back Marcelo will be relieved to learn that his own goal did not make the cut.

As ever, the animation is in Richard’s eye-catching and unique style.

We’re looking forward to keeping tabs with his efforts throughout the World Cup.
