Francesco Totti by Robin Gundersen

Norwegian artist and graphic designer Robin Gundersen is a prolific illustrator of footballers.

His ‘Mini Guns’ collection is a series of caricatures that capture some of the game’s best-known stars in an eye-catching angular style.

Given his exploits against Manchester City last night – when he became the oldest Champions League goalscorer ever – Roma’s Francesco Totti was the obvious player to pick out of Robin’s back-catalogue to showcase today.

As we say, the style is instantly recognisable. It also puts the players in question into stumpy, Corinthian bobble-head figure proportions.

See more of Robin’s work on his Facebook page.
