Grimsby Town’s Ollie Palmer by Jack Anderson

Jack Anderson, a 15-year-old Grimsby Town fan, painted a picture of Ollie Palmer, the Mariners’ on-loan striker, scoring on his debut against Barnet in a 3-1 Conference Premier victory on 17 January.

Palmer, a 6ft 5in centre forward, has scored four goals in six games since arriving on loan from Mansfield Town. As such, he has created quite an impression on Blundell Park faithful, including Jack.

After finishing the work, he took the time to send it to the club. He is probably pleased that he did, because Grimsby posted it to their official Twitter account and it has now found its way around the internet, including to your humble Savile Rogue blog.

That’s great news for Jack, great news for Grimsby and fantastic news for Young’s Sea Food.
