Urban Goals by Michael Kirkham

Urban Goals is a photography project by Michael Kirkham, which celebrates football in our cities.

In other words, it’s a look at the lengths people will go to in order to create a goal at which to shoot, even when grass is at a premium or non-existent. Sometimes that means a tiny set of woodwork on a housing estate playing field, but more often than not it means a tin of paint or a stick of chalk and the nearest brick wall.
