Your Shot – Terms of Use

The user, in submitting images to this website, grants Savile Rogue a non-exclusive license to use these images in the following ways:

Display on Facebook

Display on Savile-Rogue.com website

Use across Savile Rogue printed promotional materials

We cannot guarantee that all images will be used in any of the above ways and no payment will be made for any such use.

All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any recognisable individuals featured in the entries, or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured. We will require an Artist release form for each recognisable individual - download here.

Failure to do so will see the entry disqualified and removed from the Savile Rogue website. Furthermore, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.

The entrant gives their full consent for Savile Rogue to use any of images supplied in a range of formats that may include print, internet etc on the understanding that the photographer will be fully credited for any of the images reproduced as required.

Entrants can vote for their favourite photo / image on the Savile Rogue website.

Any Savile Rogue related competition prizes will be awarded to amateur photographers only, however professional photographers are very welcome to submit their images subject to the terms and conditions detailed. The decision of Savile Rogue regarding any winning photos / images is final. Entrants can only win associated prizes once during the competition. For the purposes of any competition, a professional photographer will be considered to be someone who makes more than half their annual income from the sale of their photographs.

If your shot is chosen for publication
To qualify for inclusion in Savile Rogue, you must comply with the following additional requirements: In the event recognizable people appear in your photograph, you must be prepared to provide the Personal Release signed by those people, authorizing our publication of the Photograph (Download the Personal Release).
